25th Anniversary of the Women's Refuge

The Women’s Refuge celebrated its 25th anniversary at the annual Christmas Banquet on December 9th, featuring keynote speaker Alex Kendrick at the Corporate Air Hangar. Kendrick shared a wonderful message about how a father’s godly characteristics positively impacts his children and families lives. He shared how this has lasting effects on a child that leads to a spiritual and emotionally healthy relationship with one another and with Our Father in heaven.

The Women’s Refuge teaches the attributes of God as foundational truths the women and families we serve can depend on. As a Christian filmmaker, Alex and his brothers seek the Lord in prayer, and then in faith, step out as God leads, even when it goes against our culture. God blesses our obedience.
