Residential Program

Our residential program is offered to women 18 and older who desire to live and walk in freedom and victory. We believe that this true freedom and victory is only available to a life surrendered and committed to a "personal walk"- a life journey-with God. This walk is established at the Refuge by a daily regimen of work, personal and group study, and counseling.
Residents are expected to spend at least four hours of their day engaged in a constructive pattern of activity which may include volunteering at the Women’s Refuge, working at a job, or going to school. Our Resale shop is often an available source for volunteer hours.
The Refuge is a two-week to two-year program where sanctuary is provided in a home-like environment. Trained Christian counselors use biblical solutions to help women develop long-term goals and heal from spiritual and emotional wounds. Any woman who is serious about wanting to change her ineffective life patterns is welcomed into this program so she can become a contributing member of her family, church, and society. When women seek further accountability and training, we have a Transition House where they may stay while they work in the community.
One-on-one biblical counseling, study materials, housing and meals are included in the cost of the program.
