The Women’s Refuge started a daughter ministry in Colombia, South America in May, 2003. Two of our staff established this home by overseeing a program and training the leaders. The Director and her husband are actively seeking prayer and financial support as they face almost insurmountable obstacles. Members of our Vero Beach staff will be in constant communication with them and will visit them at least every six months to keep them encouraged and focused on God -- their real Refuge.

St. Augustine, Florida
In February 2005 The Women's Refuge of St. Johns County opened their doors in St. Augustine, Florida to women who have been incarcerated in prison or jail. Most of these women have had problems with addictions, therefore, the Refuge commitment is for one year. Ed and Joan Clements are dedicated servants of the Lord and have been trained in biblical counseling
